Biography

Anand Baxi, M.D. is a board-certified gastroenterologist and clinical assistant professor of medicine and gastroenterology based at UW Medical Center. 

In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Baxi specializes in advanced therapeutic endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound, pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, endoluminal stent placement, balloon enteroscopy, and endoscopic resection of premalignant and early GI malignancies. 

Dr. Baxi strives to involve patients as active participants in their healthcare decisions while using the latest technology and research to provide high quality, compassionate care within a collaborative team.

Dr. Baxi earned his M.D. at Emory University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His clinical interests include using advances in endoscopy to provide minimally invasive solutions to complex problems; pancreaticobiliary diseases; and prevention, detection, and treatment of early GI malignancies.
