Biography

Bryan Balmadrid, M.D., is a board certified physician and director of Endoscopy at Harborview, a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology and the UW Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship program director. 

Dr. Balmadrid’s first priority is always for patient care and comfort. "Patient care" means more than just providing a procedure or a clinic visit. For him, it means staying up to date with new technology and science and using all his resources including colleagues to provide patients with the best options.

Dr. Balmadrid earned his M.D. at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is active in device development and prototype testing to further advance the field of gastroenterology.
