Biography

Dr. McDonald is a professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and a member in the Clinical Research Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. His research is in the field of hematopoietic cell transplantation, its outcomes and gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and renal complications. He is the principal investigator on a study of allogeneic transplantation as a potential cure for severe Crohn's Disease (www.CATS-FHCRC.org).
