Dr. Kalra practices at Harborview and is a UW assistant professor of medicine. In addition to general GI, he specializes in motility disorders such as achalasia, gastroparesis, and IBS. He has a strong interest in physician training.Dr. Kalra earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his M.D. at Washington University in St. Louis, where he stayed for internal medicine residency. He then completed GI fellowship at the University of Miami.Clinical interests include general gastroenterology, motility, esophageal diseases, and the intersection of technology and medicine.Research interests include motility disorders.
