Biography

Mark Derleth, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist at University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC).  He sees patients in the Digestive Health Center and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.

Dr. Derleth believes that good communication is a crucial part of providing good care to patients. He strives to understand patients’ concerns and expectations so that he can best assist them.

Dr. Derleth earned his MD at Boston University and did his internal medicine and gastroenterology training at University of Washington.  He joined the UW faculty in 2013 and became program director for the gastroenterology fellowship in 2020.
