We are looking to the future as we celebrate 75 years at the UW Department of Medicine. Meet the Emerging Leaders at UW GI, representing who we are now and where we are going.

Drs. Erin Cleveland, Abbey Bernard Giustini, Rachel Issaka, Jeffrey Jacobs, and Philip Vutien.

Dr. Erin Cleveland, Medical Director of the Harborview Liver Clinic.

Dr. Jeffrey Jacobs specializes in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.

Dr. Rachel Issaka is the Kathryn Surace-Smith Endowed Chair in Health Equity Research and Director of the Fred Hutch/UW Medicine Population Health Colorectal Cancer Screening Program.

Dr. Philip Vutien, transplant hepatologist and clinical researcher.

Dr. Abbey Barnard Giustini, VA Hepatology Clinic Director and lead of the VA multidisciplinary fatty liver disease clinic.
