BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Carithers is a UW professor of medicine. He is the former head of UW Medical Center's liver care services and former medical director of the liver transplant program at UWMC. His clinical interests include hepatitis C, hepatitis B, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, primary biliary cirrhosis, Wilson disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver transplantation.
