Biography
Shoba Krishnamurthy, M.D., is a board certified gastroenterologist at the Digestive Health Clinic at Eastside Specialty Center and a UW professor of Gastroenterology and Medicine. She has regularly been selected as a Seattle Met magazine Top Doctor.
Dr. Krishnamurthy cares for patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders. She believes in a partnership between the patient and the doctor, where the goal is to treat the whole patient, not just the disease.
Dr. Krishnamurthy earned her M.D. at Bangalore Medical College in India. She is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She completed a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine under Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. She has also obtained additional training in herbal medicine and certified training in Guided Imagery and Hypnosis through the American Academy of Guided Imagery and American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
