Biography
Dr. Kearney’s current studies examine the role of mindfulness training as a clinical intervention. His ongoing studies examine the effect of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), eating behaviors, food intake, physical symptoms, and overall quality of life. He is also the principal investigator on a study that examines the ability to cultivate positive emotions in patients with a history of severe trauma and PTSD.
