Biography
Dr. Cusick earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and Psychology from the University of Oregon. He subsequently completed an Associate Degree in Nursing at Glendale Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. He received his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Seattle University with clinical training that included rotations in internal medicine, advanced heart failure, and palliative care.
Dr. Cusick has developed a strong clinical career across diverse and high-acuity healthcare settings. He has held registered nursing positions at Los Angeles Community Hospital and Adventist Health, followed by service at UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center. Since May 2022, he has practiced at UW Medical Center–Northwest, where he currently serves as a charge nurse, reflecting his leadership skills, clinical expertise, and commitment to high-quality, team-based patient care in acute care environments.
