BIOGRAPHY

Alyssa Choi, M.D. is a board-certified gastroenterologist at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and an assistant professor of Gastroenterology and Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center. In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Choi specializes in advanced endoscopy including complex polypectomy, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, radiofrequency ablation, endoluminal stent placement, endoscopic suturing, and third space endoscopy.

Dr. Choi strives to provide high-quality, compassionate care by encouraging her patients to take ownership of their health and fostering solid patient-physician communication. Dr. Choi earned her M.D. at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests include preventing, detecting, and treating gastrointestinal malignancies, including pancreatic cancer.
