Biography

Dr. Jalali earned his MD from Azad University Medical School in 1993. After completing his MD, he completed his internship at Azad University Hospital.

Dr. Jalali has held several positions since completing his internship. He was the Medical Director for the Sooran Clinic and later became the Medical Director for Infectious Disease Control in Sooran.

After moving to the United States, Dr. Jalali held positions at Harbor Hospital in Maryland and later became a Battalion Surgeon for the 82nd Brigade Support Battalion in 2008. In 2010 he became a Staff Physician at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 2015, Dr. Jalai completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and in 2018 he joined the Gastroenterology staff at Madigan Army Military Center. In 2019 he moved to the Franciscan Digestive Care Associates. Dr. Jalali started with UW Medical Center on August 1, 2025, and will be scoping at OPMC.
