Biography

Adam Templeton, M.D., is a board certified gastroenterologist at UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Gastroenterology and Medicine.

In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Templeton has a specialized focus in the use of endoscopy for advanced and therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), cholangioscopy, stent placement, tissue apposition and endoscopic mucosal resection for early GI malignancy. He believes in listening to the patient first and always.

Dr. Templeton earned his M.D. at Dartmouth. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His clinical and research interests include the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of early GI malignancy, using endoscopy to bring a minimally invasive approach to gastrointestinal disease, Barrett's esophagus, endoscopy in patients with surgically altered anatomy and diagnosis and management of biliary strictures.
