UWGI Builds Community
At the start of each year, there are multiple events held for the new fellows in order to welcome them into the program.
Throughout the year, the program directors host a bi-monthly breakfast meeting to get feedback on the program and work through any issues that arise.
Other favorite events include the Landmark Papers meeting, where a GI faculty member hosts a dinner at their home and moderates the discussion of a landmark research paper. GI fellows and faculty frequently socialize outside of work and participate in local events and fundraising activities.
Congratulations to GI Fellow, Dr. Nicole Kim, recipient of the Advanced/ Transplant Hepatology Award from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Foundation.
Congratulations to GI Fellow, Dr. Lauren Feld, recipient of the Advanced/ Transplant Hepatology Award from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Foundation.
